Lately I have been feeling sad. Must be the weather or that routine work-home life. Must be hormones too! Sebastien has been a big comfort though. When he found out that I’m feeling melancholic, he decided to take off from work, took me out for dinner and afternoon dates on our favorite coffee shop. So thankful for this! Autumn is beautiful as always.. But this year was just rainy since the summer season. We’re lucky once in a while for the sunny days in between. Nevertheless, Happy Thanksgiving!

Made a little something for Thanksgiving.

Our breakfast dates always give me comfort.

It’s one of those nights.. when in bed, emotionally recalling how simple and joyful the house where I grew up feels. I wish I wasn’t so excited to grow up back then. How can we not live on the same day of our best days over and over again? I wish we never had to grow up, or never had to see our parents and grandparents get old.

The older I get, the smaller my circle becomes. Sometimes it makes me rethink, is it because I filter toxic people or is it just my self esteem’s not improving? The older I get, the less people I want to interact with, and I get tired of thinking about meeting new people and maintaining connections. Is it that necessary to do so? When you lose one connection, do you really have to replace it with a new one? Right now, apart from my husband and my parents, there’s more or less 5 friends I constantly keep in touch with, 1 of them is even too far physically to actually spend quality time and meet our list of goals together.
